This passion project originated from a place of self-doubt, as I grappled with the challenge of transitioning from music videos to narrative storytelling. The aim was to craft a narrative that resonates universally with creatives, offering a relatable experience. The inspiration for this film stemmed from my collaboration with Andre Winn, a dear friend and the lead actor in this short film, as we embarked on the exploration of uncharted creative territories.

In the process, I observed a shared yearning for something more significant, tempered by the fear of change and the specter of failure. The resulting story, a fusion of Andre's life experiences and my dark struggles during that period, served as both a cathartic expression and a testament to the resilience inherent in creative pursuits.

Upon presenting the script to Andre, His connection to the narrative was profound, driven by a desire to articulate the challenges he faced in his music career. Motivated by this shared vision, I mobilized resources and invested financially to bring this short story to life.

An additional source of motivation came from Edison Layne, a respected friend and assistant director. Despite the excitement of collaborating on this passion project, a turn of events occurred just days before our first day of shooting. Edison's untimely passing, though deeply saddening, served as a reminder of life's brevity and the unrealized potential that accompanies it.

Reflecting on his passing, I became acutely aware of the importance of gratitude for the present moment and an abandonment of fear in pursuing loftier aspirations. In memory of Edison, this project stands as a tribute to the enduring spirit of creativity and the pursuit of ambitious goals, even in the face of adversity.
